Job Description

installation, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Commissioning

  • Install and commission BESS and EV systems at customer sites as per technical specifications.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and verification to ensure systems are fully operational and compliant with quality standards.

2. Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on BESS and EV systems as part of scheduled service activities.
  • Respond promptly to unscheduled breakdowns or faults, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Replace or repair faulty components such as inverters, batteries, and power electronic parts.

3. Technical Support

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers for optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Service Lead and technical teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Recommend solutions and share feedback to improve system reliability and customer satisfaction.

4. Customer Interaction & Documentation

  • Communicate professionally with customers to understand and address their service requirements.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including completion reports, parts used, and system observations.
  • Provide customers with documentation such as user manuals, maintenance schedules, and service reports.

5. Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all safety standards and company guidelines during installation and service activities.
  • Comply with regulations for handling and disposing of hazardous materials (e.g., lithium-ion batteries).
  • Report any safety or compliance concerns promptly to the Regional Service Lead.

6. Training & Skill Development

  • Continuously upgrade technical knowledge in BESS, EV technologies, and related power systems.
  • Attend internal and external training programs to stay current with new products and industry practices.

7. Inventory Management

  • Manage and maintain an adequate inventory of tools and spare parts required for service operations.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of parts and tools to minimize downtime.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of

    Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

    and

    Electric Vehicle (EV)

    technology.
  • Understanding of

    power conversion equipment

    such as inverters, chargers, and controllers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve

    electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues

    in energy systems.
  • Proficiency with

    diagnostic tools

    ,

    testing instruments

    , and

    service management software

    .
  • Strong adherence to

    safety protocols

    and attention to detail.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    510 years in service, maintenance, or technical support preferably in

    BESS, EV, or renewable energy systems

    .
  • Education:

    Diploma or Bachelors degree in

    Electrical / Electronics Engineering

    ,

    Mechanical Engineering

    ,

    Renewable Energy

    , or a related field.
  • Preferred:

    Hands-on experience with

    inverters, batteries, and power electronics

    .
