Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Define and implement procurement strategy for major EPC packages (capital equipment, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities) aligned with project milestones and budgets.
Manage RFQ/RFP processes, vendor qualification, techno-commercial evaluation, supplier selection and contract negotiation for both domestic and international vendors.
Develop and maintain vendor database, lead vendor development, performance monitoring, and supplier relationship management
Ensure sourcing raw materials / components critical for lithium-ion manufacturing (cells, modules, battery chemicals, systems) with focus on quality, cost, availability and sustainability.

Preferred candidate profile

15-20+ years of experience in procurement / supply chain / EPC procurement in heavy manufacturing / process industry / battery / cell manufacturing / chemical / utilities environment.
Proven track record in large-scale EPC projects: procurement of capital equipment packages, utilities, and critical manufacturing systems.
Strong negotiation and communication skills to propel the organization to decision and action while building lasting relationships with people all over the world and quickly.
