Job Description

The Service Floor Manager is responsible for supervising daily workshop operations, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining quality service standards, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. The role involves coordinating between Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and CRM teams to ensure timely vehicle delivery and adherence to Hyundai service guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:Workshop Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day workshop activities and ensure smooth vehicle flow from job card opening to final delivery.
  • Allocate jobs to technicians as per skill level and workload capacity.
  • Ensure quality repair and maintenance work as per Hyundai standards.
  • Monitor job progress and update customers through the Service Advisor team.
  • Ensure proper documentation, billing, and job card closure.

Customer Experience

  • Ensure all customers are greeted and attended promptly in the service area.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns or complaints effectively.
  • Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and FTR (First Time Right) scores.
  • Coordinate with CRM for customer feedback and follow-ups.

Team Management

  • Supervise Service Advisors, Technicians, and other workshop staff.
  • Conduct daily morning briefings and allocate work accordingly.
  • Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and time utilization.
  • Conduct periodic training and coaching to improve performance.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Liaise with the Parts Department for timely availability of spares.
  • Coordinate with Bodyshop, Warranty, and CRM teams for smooth operations.
  • Maintain workshop discipline, safety standards, and housekeeping.
  • Prepare daily workshop reports and submit to the Service Manager.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of automobiles (preferably Hyundai)
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills
  • Good communication and customer handling ability
  • Ability to multitask and manage pressure situations
  • Proficiency in DMS (Dealer Management System) and MS Office

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5–10 years of experience in automobile service operations
  • Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or floor management role (Hyundai experience will be given added advantage)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
