Service Engineer

A Water Pump Service Engineer installs, commissions, maintains, and repairs various water pumping systems and their components, ensuring efficient operation and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing overhauls, conducting preventative maintenance, and providing customer support while adhering to safety standards. The role requires technical expertise in mechanical pumps, electric motors, and control systems across diverse sectors, from domestic to industrial. Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning:Install, test, and commission new pump systems, including booster sets, pressurization units, and submersible pump stations.
• Maintenance & Repairs:Conduct routine maintenance, overhauls, and repairs on pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and other components to ensure peak performance.
• Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with pumping systems, water treatment systems, and control panels.
• Customer Support:Liaise with clients to address queries, provide technical guidance, and ensure customer satisfaction with the services provided.
• Record Keeping:Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed.
• Health & Safety:Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge:Strong understanding of pumps, motors, seals, bearings, and control systems.
• Mechanical Aptitude:Ability to disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble pumps and associated equipment.
• Customer Service:Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with clients.
• Safety Awareness:Commitment to following safety protocols and regulations.
• Problem-Solving:Ability to diagnose complex problems and implement effective solutions.
