Job Description

Job Summary:

The Service Advisor acts as the primary liaison between customers and the service department. The role involves understanding customer concerns, preparing job cards, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring timely delivery of vehicles with quality service. The Service Advisor ensures customer satisfaction, maintains service standards, and helps achieve departmental targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers courteously and understand their vehicle service needs.
  • Open job cards, record customer concerns accurately, and provide repair estimates.
  • Coordinate with the workshop team for vehicle inspection and job allocation.
  • Communicate service progress, cost estimates, and timelines to customers.
  • Upsell recommended services, accessories, and maintenance packages.
  • Ensure timely delivery of vehicles and perform quality checks before handover.
  • Maintain customer records, service history, and feedback.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Achieve monthly service and customer satisfaction targets set by management.
  • Support service marketing activities and customer retention initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automobile dealership (Honda experience preferred).
  • Good knowledge of automotive systems, service processes, and technical terminology.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer-handling and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good computer skills (DMS, MS Office, CRM tools).
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Performance Metrics:

  • Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score.
  • Job card accuracy and service turnaround time.
  • Value-added services and upselling performance.
  • Repeat customer ratio and complaint resolution rate.

Compensation:

Competitive salary and incentives based on performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
