Position Summary
JD TVS is seeking a dynamic and professionally skilled Service Advisor cum Operations Executive to support both customer-facing service operations and internal dealership system management. This dual-function role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless workshop coordination, exceptional customer experience, and meticulous data accuracy across all operational processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities, operational discipline, and a solid understanding of automobile service workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Advisory Functions
- Greet customers professionally and understand their service requirements with accuracy and clarity.
- Prepare detailed job cards, document complaints, explain recommended services, and provide transparent cost and time estimates.
- Coordinate effectively with workshop managers, technicians, and parts staff to ensure timely service delivery.
- Communicate job status, approvals, additional work requirements, and delivery timelines to customers proactively.
- Conduct quality checks on serviced vehicles before delivery, ensuring compliance with TVS service and safety standards.
- Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally, contributing to improved Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
- Promote AMC plans, extended warranties, service packages, and genuine TVS accessories.
Operational & DMS Management
- Operate and manage the TVS Dealership Management System (DMS) with precision and adherence to company protocols.
- Perform accurate data entry for job cards, billing, customer details, spare parts, and service histories.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to productivity, revenue, inventory, and service performance.
- Manage spare parts entries including GRNs, stock issues, stock adjustments, and inventory tracking.
- Ensure accurate billing, tax application, discount approvals, and timely job card closure.
- Coordinate data flow between Service, Workshop, Billing, and Spare Parts departments for smooth workflow.
- Maintain data confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with TVS audit standards.
- Coordinate with IT/DMS support teams for troubleshooting and system-related issue resolution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum qualification: Graduation must be done.
- Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile dealership operations, service advisory, or DMS roles.
- Strong working knowledge of dealership systems (TVS DMS preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Basic technical understanding of two-wheelers.
