Job Description

Job Role: Server Administrator
Experience: 5+ Years Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra

  • 5 + years of experience in managing and supporting Windows end points, server administration, configuration, and upgradation.
  • Knowledge of Windows 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 Servers (Must Have), Server installation, configuration, OS/server administration, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience. Willing to work on multiple platforms.
  • Knowledge in active directory, DNS, DHCP, file server & Virtualization technologies. Experience in O365 application, windows OS, software installation, outlook and server troubleshooting.
  • Experience in datacenter management & Endpoint security management.
  • Ability to handle major incident and troubleshooting in windows domain.
  • Disk Administration: Shrink Partitions & Share Drives, Disk Quotas, DFS, Patch management, troubleshooting skills in OS & Hyper-V related.
  • Hand-on knowledge of various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Clustering (geo cluster, multimode passive/active). Working Knowledge of File and Print servers, Knowledge on server management tools, Log monitoring/maintenance, and Solid understanding of cloud computing, networking, and storage principles
  • Knowledge / Experience in Firewall, Proxy, Anti-spam, VMware, Load Balancer, Understanding and Hands on experience of LAN/WAN, Wireless and Firewall technologies.
  • Must Have knowledge about NAS & SAN, Manage and configure NetBackup/Networker backup solutions, ensuring reliable and efficient backup and recovery operations.
  • Monitor backup jobs and perform regular tests to verify data integrity and recovery capabilities. Troubleshoot backup and recovery issues and implement improvements as needed
  • PowerShell, scripting, and automation experience is a plus.
  • Able to write quality KB articles, Problem Management articles, and SOPs/Run-books
  • Passion for delivering timely and outstanding service
  • Able to Help L1 staff in support
  • Great written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers
