Job Description

1. On-Page Optimization

1.1 Conduct comprehensive keyword research (short-tail, long-tail, question-based, and intent-driven keywords).

1.2 Map primary, secondary, and LSI keywords to website pages and content clusters.

1.3 Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags (H1–H6), and image alt attributes for keyword relevance and CTR improvement.

1.4 Implement internal linking strategy to enhance contextual depth, crawl efficiency, and link equity distribution.

1.5 Optimize for semantic search and entity-based SEO using schema markup, knowledge graph data, and topical authority signals.

1.6 Create detailed content optimization briefs for writers with NLP-based keyword suggestions.

1.7 Maintain optimal keyword density, readability, and topical authority using tools like SurferSEO, Frase, or Clearscope.

1.8 Conduct regular on-page audits to identify missing tags, broken internal links, and underperforming pages.

2. Off-Page Optimization

2.1 Develop a monthly backlink acquisition plan focusing on authority (DA/DR >50) and niche relevancy.

2.2 Execute guest posting, contextual link placements, editorial mentions, and niche edits to strengthen domain authority.

2.3 Build directory submissions, business listings, and classified ads on reputable industry and review platforms such as Clutch, G2, JustDial, Yelp, Crunchbase, and GoodFirms.

2.4 Perform social bookmarking, blog commenting, and content syndication to increase link diversity and referral traffic.

2.5 Plan and manage digital PR campaigns for brand mentions, press releases, and influencer collaborations.

2.6 Conduct competitor backlink analysis to identify, replicate, and outperform high-quality link sources.

2.7 Monitor and disavow toxic or spammy backlinks periodically to maintain a healthy link profile.

3. Technical SEO

3.1 Perform monthly SEO site audits using tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Sitebulb.

3.2 Fix crawl errors, broken links, duplicate content, canonical conflicts, and redirect chains.

3.3 Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) and Page Experience signals for both desktop and mobile devices.

3.4 Enhance site loading speed (<2.5 seconds) through caching, compression, CDN integration, and image optimization.

3.5 Ensure mobile-first indexing, responsive design, and accessibility compliance.

3.6 Manage robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and ensure proper indexation for all priority pages.

3.7 Implement and validate structured data markup (schema.org) for articles, FAQs, products, breadcrumbs, and reviews.

3.8 Ensure correct hreflang implementation for multilingual or multi-regional websites.

3.9 Audit crawl depth, fix orphan pages, and enhance internal link distribution for better crawl efficiency.

4. Local SEO

4.1 Create and optimize Google Business Profile (GBP) for each business location or target market.

4.2 Ensure NAP consistency (Name, Address, Phone) across all local directories and listings.

4.3 Submit to local citations and directories such as Yelp, Clutch, GoodFirms, Justdial, and Local.com.

4.4 Optimize local landing pages with geo-targeted and “near me” keywords.

4.5 Generate positive customer reviews and engage with feedback to build credibility and improve local rankings.

4.6 Monitor and improve local map pack visibility and local keyword positions.

5. Reporting, Monitoring & Collaboration

5.1 Set up and maintain tracking systems using GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.

5.2 Create automated Looker Studio dashboards for SEO KPIs and performance tracking.

5.3 Track keyword rankings, impressions, CTR, and visibility across core markets weekly.

5.4 Provide monthly SEO performance reports with trend analysis, insights, and actionable recommendations.

5.5 Collaborate closely with content, design, and web development teams to ensure holistic optimization.

5.6 Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SERP feature changes, and AI/semantic search trends.

5.7 Conduct quarterly competitor benchmarking for keyword, backlink, and technical health comparison.
