As a Systems Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in driving next-generation technologies and architectures while shaping the future of perception technologies for XR applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in C++ programming language and embedded device development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing highly optimized embedded software/firmware using C and C++ languages on Windows, Android, or Linux platforms. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong understanding of embedded hardware and driver concepts, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. Key responsibilities of the Systems Lead Engineer include collaborating with stakeholders to define device requirements, developing low-level device drivers, working on HW/SW interfaces, and bringing up camera/IMU sensors drivers. The candidate will also be involved in building reference/prototype devices, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications for this role include a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, as well as experience with Augmented/Virtual Reality technologies and computer vision enabling technologies.
