To succeed, you will need Knowledge requirement Hands on experience in designing hydraulic machining fixtures, test station design for performance measurement of vacuum pump and compressors. Hands on experience in designing assembly tools, lifting tools, material handling and build trollies, special purpose tools, measuring tools and automation projects. Strength calculations, knowledge of Hydraulics & Pneumatics. Selection of flow measurement valves, control valves, cylinder and power pack. In depth knowledge of various Manufacturing & Heat treatment processes with their influence on cost. Material selection capabilities, understanding of global engineering standards (e.g. ISO, DIN, etc....) would be an advantage. Creating manufacturing drawings with application of GD&T. Hands on experience of any 3D software for 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation. Good analytical skills. Lean manufacturing techniques for designing of tools. Experience in Robotic cell or system design would be an added advantage. Knowledge with Automation systems like Sensors, Actuators, PLC would be added advantage.
