Role Overview HME Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Junior QA Analyst to join our growing team in Hyderabad, India. This role is instrumental in upholding the performance, reliability, and integrity of our FMS-Live™ platform and associated mining technology solutions. As a Junior QA Analyst, you will play critical role in software testing to support the development and delivery of high-quality web applications and APIs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented tester with a strong foundation in manual testing , along with hands-on exposure to web UI automation , API testing , and load testing tools. You will be part of a collaborative QA team, ensuring that our digital platforms meet performance, usability, and reliability standards. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and engineering teams to ensure that HME Solutions’ applications meet the high standards expected in mission-critical mining operations. Your work will directly contribute to the safe, efficient, and intelligent operation of mining fleets around the world. Key Responsibilities Execute manual testing for web-based applications and services. Write, maintain, and run test cases and checklists based on user stories and acceptance criteria. Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate backend services. Assist in web UI automation using tools like Selenium or Cypress. Conduct load and performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools to ensure application scalability. Identify and document bugs clearly in a test management or issue tracking system (e.g., Jira). Work closely with developers and QA leads during sprint cycles to validate builds. Participate in regression testing and release readiness activities. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline. 2–3 years of experience in a software testing or QA role. Proficiency in manual testing , functional and regression testing. Working knowledge of API testing tools like Postman. Basic experience with UI test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress. Familiarity with load testing tools like JMeter. Good understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and Agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation abilities. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of mining or industrial domain applications. Exposure to version control (e.g., GitHub), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and test case management tools.

As a Senior QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in the validation of software and hardware-integrated systems deployed across active mine sites. You will lead the design and execution of comprehensive testing strategies—spanning functional, API, performance, and UI automation testing—for web-based platforms, telemetry systems, and field-deployed devices. This position is ideal for a hands-on QA professional with strong testing fundamentals and an appreciation for real-world operational reliability in rugged industrial environments. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and engineering teams to ensure that HME Solutions’ applications meet the high standards expected in mission-critical mining operations. Your work will directly contribute to the safe, efficient, and intelligent operation of mining fleets around the world. Key Responsibilities Design and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications used in mining operations. Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on software builds. Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools. Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, or REST-assured, validating endpoints and responses. Execute load and performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to ensure system scalability under mining data loads. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and field engineers to validate requirements and replicate real-use scenarios. Identify, document, and track bugs through defect tracking systems like Jira or Azure DevOps. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and test strategy discussions. Ensure end-to-end system validation for data integration across sensors, telemetry modules, and dashboards. Validate hardware-software integration for GNSS units, in-cab tablets, and telemetry modules to ensure consistent performance in real-world mining environments. Perform end-to-end workflow testing to verify that data captured from field hardware is accurately processed and visualised in web dashboards and reporting tools. Set up and maintain test environments that reflect production architecture, including cloud services, simulated sensor input, and edge device configurations. Create and manage representative test datasets, including synthetic and anonymised production data, to support robust regression and scenario testing. Reproduce and validate fixes for issues reported from mine sites by replicating field scenarios in controlled QA test beds. Document and maintain detailed records of test plans, test results, and defect reports to support auditability and continuous improvement. Contribute to the development and refinement of test automation strategy, including selection of tools, scripting standards, and prioritisation of test coverage. Assist in validating new features and platform behaviour against internal cybersecurity guidelines and relevant external compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001). Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. 5-7 years of experience in software QA/testing roles. Solid experience in manual testing for web and integrated platforms. Proficient in API testing and automation using Postman or equivalent. Strong knowledge of web UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Hands-on experience with load and performance testing tools like JMeter. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to test applications involving real-time data, including experience validating time-series, telemetry, or sensor-driven data streams. Strong understanding of database testing principles, including proficiency in writing basic SQL queries for data validation and consistency checks. Experience testing applications in cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure, AWS), with familiarity in navigating dashboards, managing test deployments, and validating hosted services. Practical understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and ability to work within CI/CD pipelines for test automation and continuous validation. This is a hands-on, creative, and technically minded role ideal for a designer with a passion for clean, data-rich interfaces and design systems. You will contribute directly to the design of HME’s industrial-grade software platforms, which are deployed across mining operations in India, Australia, and the Middle East. Working alongside developers, product managers, and field teams, you will craft user experiences that bring clarity to real-time fleet data, asset health insights, and mining performance metrics across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. Your work will impact field operators, control room supervisors, and decision-makers who rely on our platforms to run efficient, safe, and productive mine sites. You’ll be based out of our modern facility in Hitec City, Hyderabad, with opportunities to collaborate closely with our international product teams. Key Responsibilities Design and maintain cohesive UI/UX systems for web-based applications, dashboards, and internal tools used in mining operations. Create and manage brand-aligned templates, design components, and reusable UI assets in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools. Design intuitive dashboards and data visualization interfaces for complex real-time mining data (fleet movement, productivity metrics, payload tracking, etc.).
