Two-wheelers are still catching up, and our vision is to accelerate this transition by delivering car-like intelligence to every rider. Join us in building the future of intelligent mobility. Role Overview As a Manual & Automation QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile applications and connected device ecosystem. You will design test strategies, build and maintain automated test suites, execute manual test cycles, and work closely with developers, product managers, and hardware teams to deliver a seamless and bug-free experience to riders. This role is ideal for a hands-on QA professional who is comfortable owning quality end-to-end - from requirements review to release sign-off - across mobile apps, APIs, and device integrations. Key Responsibilities Quality Strategy & Planning Define and own the test strategy, test plan, and test cases for mobile apps (iOS/Android), backend APIs, and device integrations. Participate in requirement and design reviews to identify gaps, edge cases, and potential risks early in the lifecycle. Identify test coverage metrics and continuously improve them (functional, regression, performance, compatibility). Manual Testing Design and execute detailed manual test cases/use cases for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory testing across a wide range of devices, OS versions, and network conditions. Validate end-to-end user journeys including app–device–cloud interactions. Log clear, reproducible defects and work closely with developers to prioritize and resolve them. Test Automation Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications and APIs. Build robust, reusable automation scripts for regression, smoke, and sanity test suites. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback cycles. Monitor and maintain test stability and flakiness, and ensure accurate reporting of automation results. Device & Connectivity Testing Test app interactions with smart peripheral devices over Bluetooth/BLE and other connectivity protocols. Validate real-time data streaming, visualization, and synchronization between device, app, and backend. Simulate and test various real-world conditions (intermittent connectivity, low battery, sensor issues, etc.). Collaboration & Documentation Collaborate closely with mobile, backend, hardware, and product teams to understand features and define acceptance criteria. Provide clear quality status, risk assessment, and go/no-go inputs during releases. Maintain comprehensive documentation for test plans, test cases, automation coverage, and test reports. Continuous Improvement Identify gaps in processes, tools, and test coverage and proactively recommend improvements. Stay updated on QA best practices, tools, and frameworks for mobile, API, and IoT testing. Qualifications Must-Have 3+ years of experience in software QA, with solid exposure to both manual and automation testing. Strong experience testing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
