Senior Web Developer

As a Senior Web Developer at Hooqx, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing the company's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the entire lifecycle of digital products and platforms, from development to deployment and maintenance. You will lead and mentor a technical team to deliver scalable and innovative solutions, while staying abreast of emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge. Collaboration with management, clients, and stakeholders to establish project requirements will be key, along with ensuring robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with best practices. Additionally, managing the IT infrastructure, software development, and technology partnerships to optimize resources, budgets, and timelines for maximum efficiency will fall within your purview. Your role will also involve providing thought leadership and representing the company's technology vision to internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement the company's technology strategy aligned with business goals. - Oversee end-to-end development, deployment, and maintenance of digital products and platforms. - Lead and mentor the technical team to deliver scalable and innovative solutions. - Identify emerging technologies and drive their adoption to maintain competitive advantage. - Collaborate with management, clients, and stakeholders to define project requirements. - Ensure robust cybersecurity measures, data protection, and compliance with best practices. - Manage the company's IT infrastructure, software development, and technology partnerships. - Optimize resources, budgets, and timelines for maximum efficiency and output. - Provide thought leadership and represent the company's technology vision to internal and external stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Proven experience (minimum 3+ years) in a CTO or senior technology leadership role. - Strong background in web and software development (PHP, Laravel, JavaScript frameworks, etc.). - Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Knowledge of AI/ML, data analytics, automation tools (preferred). - Expertise in system architecture, database management (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.), and API integrations. - Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, and IT compliance. - Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana). - Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills. - Ability to mentor and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
