Senior Voip Engineer

As an Avaya Voice Engineer / UC Architect with 7+ years of experience, your role will involve designing, deploying, and managing complex Avaya telephony environments. You will be based in Hyderabad and should be able to join immediately. Key Responsibilities: - Design, deploy, and manage enterprise Avaya environments including Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Session Manager, System Manager, Avaya Messaging / Modular Messaging, Avaya SBCs / Session Border Controllers, and Contact Center / AACC / CMS. - Conduct voice architecture design reviews, implement best practices globally, and manage high-availability voice systems with disaster recovery planning. - Architect and implement integration with third-party services such as Microsoft Teams, SIP trunking providers, Active Directory, and Call Recording platforms. - Provide high-level support for critical incidents, mentor junior engineers, and maintain system documentation. - Evaluate new technologies, upgrades, and security improvements within the UC domain and manage vendor escalations for SLA compliance. - Lead Avaya system migrations, software upgrades, and hardware refresh projects while ensuring compliance with enterprise security policies. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with Avaya enterprise telephony platforms and deep expertise in Avaya Aura suite. - Strong knowledge of SIP architecture, SBCs, trunking, network voice routing, and troubleshooting using Avaya tools. - Proficiency in voicemail, DID provisioning, call flow design, and integrating with Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP. - Ability to lead technical discussions, hold relevant Avaya certifications, and maintain documentation. - Experience with tools like Wireshark, Avaya One-X, System Platform, and Communication Manager CLI. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Avaya Contact Center (AACC/AES), workforce optimization tools, or recording systems.,
