YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED Work Roles Voice Network Configuration and Management: Analyze SIP logs for troubleshooting and debugging VoIP-related issues. Configure and maintain PRI gateways from brands such as Sangoma, Dinstar, and other major providers. Have to have very good knowledge on SIP Protocol and UDP/RTP/TLS/SRTP and other protocols Set up and manage GSM gateways for seamless voice communication. Need to have hands on experience . Also should have worked on configuring IP Phones of various makes Session Border Controller (SBC) Management: Deploy and manage SBCs, ensuring secure and reliable communication between different VoIP networks. Troubleshoot and optimize SIP headers for call flows and network integrity. Also need to understand the meaning of various SIP functions like REFER / REDIRECT etc. Unified Communications System Support: Monitor and manage the Unified Communications System’s NOC to ensure uninterrupted voice services. Address escalated issues and coordinate with internal teams for resolution. Network and Security Integration: Configure and maintain firewalls to secure voice and data traffic. Handle WAN setup and ensure connectivity for Unified Communications systems. Collaborate with network teams to implement QoS (Quality of Service) for voice traffic. Shift Management and Documentation: Work in shifts to provide 24/7 support for the NOC. Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, incidents, and resolutions. Ensure smooth handovers between shifts by updating logs and reports. Qualifications and Skills Required: Hands-on experience with SIP log analysis and troubleshooting. Proven expertise in configuring PRI gateways from Sangoma, Dinstar, and similar brands. Strong understanding of SBCs and SIP headers, including their roles in VoIP networks. Practical experience in setting up and maintaining GSM gateways. Knowledge of firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco, or similar) and WAN configurations. Familiarity with the operations of a Unified Communications System’s NOC. Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Preferred: Certifications such as CCNA Voice, SIP School Certified Associate (SSCA), or equivalent. Experience with VoIP protocols like RTP, and WebRTC. Understanding of QoS, VLAN, and IP routing for VoIP networks. Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure.
