Role: Senior Video Editor

creative, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Senior Video Editor


Responsibilities:


1. Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Lead the end-to-end video editing process for various projects: brand films, social media content, advertisements, experiential campaigns, and internal communications.
  • Assemble raw footage into polished final videos that tell a compelling story and meet project objectives.
  • Edit and enhance video content with sound design, motion graphics, color grading, visual effects, and transitions.
  • Ensure consistency of brand aesthetics and messaging across all video outputs.

2. Creative Storytelling

  • Collaborate with creative, strategy, and design teams to understand project briefs and objectives.
  • Develop narrative flow and visual style that resonates with target audiences.
  • Suggest creative ideas for video storytelling, sequences, and motion graphics.

3. Technical Expertise

  • Work with industry-standard video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
  • Maintain high-quality standards in output formats suitable for digital, social media, broadcast, and experiential platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and technologies.

4. Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Coordinate with producers, content writers, and designers to ensure alignment with campaign vision.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior editors or interns.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality.

5. Quality Control & Feedback Integration

  • Review final edits for errors, continuity, and visual coherence.
  • Incorporate feedback from clients, creative directors, and stakeholders effectively.

Requirements Must-Haves:


  • 3–7 years of professional experience in video editing for advertising, branding, digital campaigns, or media production.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, editing, and post-production skills.
  • Excellent command of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Experience in motion graphics, sound design, color grading, and visual effects.
  • Strong creative vision and storytelling ability.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience editing celebrity content, brand campaigns, or experiential films.
  • Knowledge of 3D animation or advanced visual effects.
  • Familiarity with social media video trends and formats.
  • Passion for staying updated with emerging video trends and technologies.
