Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care, leading the clinical team, and ensuring excellent patient outcomes. This role involves advanced clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, surgeries, client communication, and mentoring junior veterinarians while adhering to Crown Vet’s standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care & Treatment

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage medical and surgical cases across small animals and exotics (if applicable).
  • Perform advanced surgeries and procedures as required.
  • Ensure compliance with vaccination, preventive care, and wellness protocols.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Guide and mentor junior veterinarians, interns, and support staff.
  • Conduct training sessions on clinical practices, procedures, and new treatment protocols.
  • Client Communication & Relationship Management

  • Build trust and rapport with clients through effective communication and compassionate care.
  • Educate pet parents on preventive health care, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate medical records, prescriptions, and case documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to Crown Vet’s clinical SOPs, safety, and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with management to develop new services and improve clinical operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest veterinary research, treatments, and technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H / M.V.Sc.) from a recognized institution.
  • Valid license to practice veterinary medicine.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of clinical experience, including surgical expertise.
  • Strong diagnostic, surgical, and emergency care skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to animal welfare and continuous professional development.

Work Schedule:
