Senior UX Designer

**Job Description:** As a User Experience Specialist, your role will involve conducting User Experience Assessments, defining User Scenarios, framing Problems, creating Wireframes, Prototyping, onboarding Users, and conducting Usability testing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Neutrally represent Users in projects and management deliberations - Continuously evaluate prospect and user needs, industry trends, and act as a conduit to Product for Product development - Travel to end-user sites and pilot/test locations to identify opportunities - Develop new tools for effective prototypes that are closer to users" needs - Identify design shortfalls and User needs through User Research - Make design and UX proposals related to functions and features - Deliver on project requirements within target timelines - Develop UI and UX strategies based on target goals - Collaborate with other Departments to leverage domain expertise for successful delivery on user needs and high levels of user satisfaction - Define and describe the architecture of a solution in the context of a specific solution - Compile and present User needs and solutions to Management and Leadership **Additional Company Details:** The end goal of the company is to design friction-free UX and engineer simple-to-use connected mobility solutions through digital (App) in combination with physical (in-car) experiences. **Qualifications Required:** - Adequate skill in crafting original GUI mockups, Information architecture, storyboarding, user flows, freehand sketching, and low-fidelity prototypes - Experience in conducting user research, including moderating - Experience with user-centered design methodologies - Experience in Solution Engineering and communicating complex user issues and use cases to development teams and product departments - Deep familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including AB testing, data analytics, and user research - Experience in analyzing unstructured information, visualizing data, hands-on experience with MS Office, and Creative Prototyping tools - Experience in interpreting user insights into potential engineering opportunities - Curiosity in data-based decision making and comfort working with data - Advanced understanding of Design Thinking - Basic understanding of automotive systems - Familiarity and experience with agile development methodologies **Good-to-have Skills:** - Familiarity and experience with development tools like JIRA, Miro, XD, Figma, etc. - Willingness to be occasionally hands-on (Telematics Hardware installation at the customer facility for POC, application testing, etc.) - Basic technical understanding of smartphone App development - Working knowledge of behavioral analysis - Basic understanding of Controller Area Network protocol and Telematics systems **Behavioral Requirements:** - Strong sense of urgency - Effective team player - Out of the box and yes-and mindset to achieve goals - Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills - Respectable time-management skills - Proficient interpersonal and communication skills - Positive attitude and an awesome sense of humor **Even Better:** - Experience in conducting and moderating user research - Working knowledge of behavioral analysis and/or basic IoT data analytics - Willingness to travel up to 50% of the work week (in non-pandemic situations) **Education Qualification:** - M.Des. or B.Des. in Interaction/UX/Product/Graphic Design,
