Senior UX Designer

As a User Experience Designer at our company, your role will involve various tasks such as User Experience Assessment, User Scenario definitions, Problem Framing, Wireframing, Prototyping, User Boarding, and Usability testing. You will be expected to neutrally represent the User in projects and management deliberations, continuously evaluate prospect and user needs, and industry trends to facilitate Product development. Your responsibilities will also include traveling to end-user sites for scouting opportunities, developing new tools for effective prototypes, identifying design shortfalls and user needs through research, making design and UX proposals, and delivering project requirements within target timelines. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure successful delivery on user needs and high levels of user satisfaction. Your end goal will be designing friction-free UX and engineering simple-to-use connected mobility solutions through digital (App) in combination with physical (in-car). Key Responsibilities: - Neutrally represent User in projects and management deliberations - Continuously evaluate prospect and user needs and industry trends - Travel to end-user sites to scout opportunities - Develop new tools for effective prototypes - Identify design shortfalls and user needs through research - Make design and UX proposals - Deliver on project requirements within target timelines - Collaborate with other departments for successful delivery on user needs - Define and describe the architecture of a solution - Compile and present User needs and solutions to Management Required Skills: - Crafting original GUI mockup, Information architecture, storyboarding, user flows, freehand sketching, and low fidelity prototypes - Conducting user research, including moderating - Experience with user-centered design methodologies - Experience in Solution Engineering - Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methods - Analyzing unstructured information and visualizing data - Understanding of Design Thinking - Basic understanding of automotive systems - Experience with agile development methodologies Good-to-have Skills: - Familiarity with development tools (JIRA, Miro, XD, Figma etc.) - Willingness to be occasionally hands-on - Basic technical understanding of smartphone App development - Working knowledge of behavioral analysis - Understanding of Controller Area Network protocol and Telematics system Behavioral Skills: - Strong sense of urgency - Effective team player - Out of the box and yes-and mindset - Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills - Time-management skills - Interpersonal and communication skills - Positive attitude and sense of humor Education Qualification: - M.Des. or B.Des.
