The role involves conducting User Experience Assessment, defining User Scenarios, framing Problems, creating Wireframes, Prototyping, onboarding Users, and conducting Usability testing. As a User Experience professional, you will neutrally represent the User in projects and management deliberations. You will continuously evaluate prospect and user needs, industry trends, and act as a conduit to Product for development. Traveling to end-user sites and pilot/test locations to identify opportunities is an essential part of the role. Experience in conducting user research, moderating, user-centered design methodologies, and Solution Engineering is essential. Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods, including AB testing, data analytics, and user research, is necessary. Additional skills required are the ability to analyze unstructured information, visualize, hands-on experience with MS Office and Creative Prototyping tools, interpreting user insights into engineering opportunities, curiosity for data-based decision making, and an advanced understanding of Design Thinking. Basic knowledge of automotive systems and familiarity with agile development methodologies are also required. Good-to-have skills include familiarity and experience with development tools like JIRA, Miro, XD, Figma, willingness to be hands-on occasionally, basic technical understanding of smartphone App development, working knowledge of behavioral analysis, and basic understanding of Controller Area Network protocol and Telematics systems.
