Senior Test Development Engineer

• Analyze, review, and understand software requirements for product testability.
• Design and develop comprehensive test documentation such as test cases, test plans, and test strategies.
• Execute system testing for multiple products across Windows and Linux platforms.
• Create and maintain Feature files (BDD) and implement step definitions/bindings to validate user scenarios.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks to optimize regression and system testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose and implement continuous improvements in testing and automation practices.
• Provide functional and technical leadership to testing teams, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.

• Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA / ME / M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering with an excellent academic record.
• Experience: 8–12 years of experience in functional and automation testing, with strong exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of system-level testing for products on Windows and Linux.
• Proven experience in creating and implementing test deliverables like test cases, test plans, feature files, and test strategies.
• Solid database skills (MySQL & SQL Server) for validation and back-end testing.
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Ruby, PowerShell, Perl, or Python and hands-on experience with BDD testing frameworks.
• Proficiency with test and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Management tools, version control systems, performance monitoring, and automation tools).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive team player with ownership and accountability.
• ISTQB Certification preferred.
