We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer in India.This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert technical support for a cutting-edge unified lakehouse platform used by leading global enterprises. Working closely with support, product, and engineering teams, you will leverage your deep technical knowledge and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Accountabilities:
- Deliver high-quality technical support for complex issues across the platform, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
- Lead critical escalations and provide detailed root cause analyses with actionable mitigation strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems through log analysis, configuration review, and deployment examination
- Document customer environments and provide tailored proactive support recommendations
- Share best practices, performance tuning tips, and architectural advice to improve reliability
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, diagnostic tools, and automation scripts to enhance team efficiency
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for customers, influence roadmaps, and help resolve product bugs
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technical support or similar customer-facing engineering roles
- Strong background in database administration (RDBMS/MPP) and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency with Linux command-line tools and scripting languages such as Shell and Python
- Familiarity with authentication and security frameworks like LDAP, Kerberos, SSL/TLS, and SSO/OAuth
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Nice to have: NOC/datacenter experience, REST API programming, non-relational database knowledge, and troubleshooting ODBC/JDBC
