Senior Technical Superintendent

As a Technical Superintendent at our client, a leading MNC in the maritime industry, you will play a crucial role in managing the technical and operational performance of 3-4 bulk, container, or tanker vessels. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operations of the company's vessels, including their routine and preventive maintenance, while ensuring compliance with all international marine requirements. Your key responsibilities will include technical management and operations of the assigned vessels, health, safety, and environmental compliance, budget management, human capital development, people management, and relationship management. To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified Marine Engineer, with a degree in business or a related discipline being an added advantage. Additionally, you should have at least 1-2 contracts as a Chief Engineer on Container, Bulk carriers, or Tankers Vessels, along with 1-3 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent. Experience in completing dry docking and PSC inspections is essential, as well as being people-oriented and passionate about developing shipboard teams. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical with a proactive approach to problem-solving, possess good interpersonal and organizational skills, and stay well-updated with the latest regulatory requirements and their implementation.
