Senior Technical Pre-Sales Engineer

Core Technical Responsibilities

1.

• Conduct

  architecture-level discovery sessions

  with enterprise and mid-market clients.
• Analyze existing systems such as:
• ERP (SAP ECC / S4HANA / Oracle)
• MES, PLM, SCM, WMS, TMS
• IoT platforms, sensor data streams
• Identify bottlenecks across:
• Production planning
• Inventory optimization
• Logistics & fleet routing
• Quality assurance & yield optimization

2. AI / Data-Driven Solution Architecture

Data Layer

• Data ingestion via Kafka / Kinesis / PubSub
• Batch & streaming pipelines (Spark, Flink, Airflow)
• Data lakes (S3, ADLS, GCS)
• Data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)

AI / ML Layer

• Predictive maintenance models
• Demand forecasting models (time-series)
• Computer vision for defect detection (OpenCV, YOLO)
• Optimization algorithms for routing & inventory

Application Layer

• Microservices (REST / GraphQL)
• Cloud-native APIs
• Dashboarding (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)

3. Cloud & Infrastructure Solutioning (Secondary)

• Design cloud architectures on

  AWS

  /

  Azure

  /

  GCP

• Define:
• High availability & DR strategies
• Security and IAM models
• Cost optimization strategies
• Propose hybrid or multi-cloud setups where required.

4. Pre-Sales Deliverables Ownership

• Create technically strong:
• Solution architecture decks
• High-Level Designs (HLD)
• Effort estimation & costing models
• SOWs with milestone-based billing
• Support RFPs requiring:
• Architecture justification
• Scalability & performance guarantees
• ROI and operational efficiency metrics

5. Cross-Functional Technical Leadership

• Act as

  technical

  bridge

  between Sales and Delivery.
• Review and validate delivery feasibility with engineering teams.
• Guide junior pre-sales or domain consultants.

Required Technical Expertise

Mandatory

• Strong understanding of:
• Data engineering pipelines
• AI/ML lifecycle (training, deployment, monitoring)
• Cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Ability to

  whiteboard full architectures end-to-end

  .
• Experience solutioning for Manufacturing / Logistics use cases.

Preferred

• Exposure to:
• IoT data ingestion
• ERP integrations
• Supply chain optimization models

Soft Skills

• Strong stakeholder communication at CTO / Head of Ops level
• Structured thinking and documentation skills
• Comfortable defending architectures in front of technical buyers
• Excellent English communication
• Proven track record of handling enterprise clients
• Proven track record of working with international clients.
