Job Description

Mandatory Skills Experience • Java/Spring Expertise: 6-8 years of professional experience with deep, hands-on expertise in Java and the Spring Framework (including Spring Boot). • Microservices Kubernetes: Proven hands-on experience in developing and deploying microservices. Practical experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes. • REST API Development: Strong experience in designing and developing secure and scalable RESTful APIs.

Architecture Design Patterns: Solid understanding of software architecture, including event-driven architecture, schedulers, and various design patterns. • Unit Testing: A strong commitment to quality, with demonstrable experience in writing thorough unit tests. • Database Proficiency: Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases, with a focus on performance tuning and query optimization. • Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (GCP is highly preferred, but AWS or Azure are also valuable).
CI/CD: Good understanding of CI/CD principles and pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gitlabs). • Secure Coding: Familiarity with secure coding practices and experience with security scanning tools (e.g., Veracode, Sonatype). • Agile Methodology: Proven experience working effectively in an Agile Scrum environment. • Application Monitoring: Experience with application performance monitoring (APM) tools like AppDynamics or native cloud monitoring services, and proficiency in troubleshooting using application logs.

________________________________________ Preferred Skills Experience • Domain Knowledge: Experience in the airline or travel technology industry. • Scripting: Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting. • A.I. Exposure: An enthusiasm for Artificial Intelligence and exposure to Generative AI APIs (e.g., LangChain, Azure AI Services, Google Vertex AI).

Vector Databases: Basic understanding of vector databases (e.g., ChromaDB, Pinecone). • UI Frameworks: Basic exposure to front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
