We’re scaling fast and building a team that can power the next phase of hypergrowth. The founder has been the hands-on tech owner for years. Now, we're looking for a Senior Tech Lead / Head of Engineering to take charge, build the tech team, and lead product execution end-to-end . 🎯 About the Role This is a high-ownership, high-impact role. You’ll work directly with the CEO to take over our core tech stack, manage dev processes, and scale our systems to handle millions of requests daily. You’ll build the future tech team, introduce structure, and ensure we can deliver fast, reliably, and securely. 🔧 Responsibilities 🛠️ Engineering Ownership Take full ownership of our PHP + MySQL product stack Refactor legacy code, build scalable APIs, improve performance Lead feature design, implementation, and deployment 🧑‍💻 Tech Ops & DevOps Manage Linux servers, cron jobs, queues, error logs, backups Handle performance optimization, uptime, monitoring & alerting 📦 Product Execution Translate business needs from sales/marketing/support into tech Drive development of new tools (e.g., lead routing, campaign automation, dashboards) 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Team Building Hire, onboard, and mentor 1–2 junior developers in the next 60 days Set up Git, coding standards, review processes, and deployment workflows 🔐 Security & Compliance Maintain data security and ensure infrastructure compliance with WhatsApp and SMS provider requirements 🧠 Must-Have Skills 5–10 years in PHP development (Laravel or Core PHP) Deep MySQL experience: joins, triggers, indexes, large datasets Experience with Linux server management (LAMP stack) Hands-on DevOps: cron, queues, failover, logs, alerts Git version control, CI/CD basics Prior experience building or maintaining high-scale platforms Ability to work with minimal supervision and high accountability ✅ Bonus Points Experience with Twilio, WhatsApp Business API, or other messaging APIs Redis/Memcached knowledge Prior team-building or mentoring experience Has handled ₹10+ Cr scale backend operations 🎁 What We Offer Direct access to the CEO and real decision-making power High impact on product, speed, and company roadmap Freedom to implement your own systems and processes Fast career path to CTO / VP Engineering A stable and growing business with high transaction volume Show more Show less
