Job Title: Senior Tableau Developer (with Strong Power BI Experience)

Location: Remote

Job Summary:

Senior Tableau Developer



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy

    interactive dashboards and reports

    in Tableau and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs.
  • Optimize BI solutions for

    performance, scalability, and usability

    .
  • Build and maintain

    data models, calculations, and visualizations

    that provide actionable insights.
  • Integrate BI tools with data sources like

    Snowflake, Databricks, SQL Server, GCP, AWS, or Azure

    .
  • Ensure

    data accuracy, governance, and security

    in reporting environments.
  • Support migration, enhancement, or modernization of existing BI platforms.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to

    best practices and BI governance frameworks

    .



Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years

    of total experience in

    Business Intelligence and Data Visualization

    .

  • Strong hands-on experience

    with

    Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Power BI

    .
  • Expertise in

    SQL

    and strong understanding of

    data modelling, ETL concepts, and data warehouse design

    .
  • Experience with

    cloud data platforms

    (Snowflake, Databricks, GCP BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
  • Proven ability to

    analyze complex data

    and present insights in a clear, visual manner.
  • Knowledge of

    performance tuning, parameters, calculations, and LOD expressions

    in Tableau.
  • Experience in

    Power BI DAX, Power Query, and workspace management

    .
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tableau and/or Power BI

    certification

    (Desktop Specialist, Data Analyst, etc.)
  • Experience with

    Python / R for data visualization or analytics integration

    .
  • Exposure to

    Agile methodology

    and version control tools like

    Git

    .



Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

    Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics

    , or related field.
