We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Operation Engineer to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of critical IT infrastructure. In this role, you will lead operational initiatives, implement best practices for monitoring and incident response, and manage complex cloud and on-premise environments. You will mentor a dynamic team, optimize infrastructure processes, and support innovative projects across diverse domains such as healthcare and smart city solutions. Accountabilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of monitoring frameworks to ensure system reliability and high availability
- Manage and optimize cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-premise infrastructure, focusing on resilience, security, and compliance
- Utilize operating systems (Linux, Windows Server), virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper-V), monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry), and access management platforms (Keycloak, GitOps)
- Oversee patch management and configuration processes using tools such as WSUS, SCCM, or Ansible
- Mentor and guide SysOps engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- Lead incident response and troubleshoot complex system performance issues to maintain operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic projects and operational goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field; or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in System Operations or Systems Administration with strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Deep expertise in monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge of networking, security protocols, backup/recovery strategies, and database management
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor others and influence cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Excellent English communication skills for collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and clients
