Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Engineer Special Package to join our Central Procurement Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement of specialized engineering packages, ensuring technical and commercial compliance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead procurement activities for specialized packages such as RO/UF Systems, Compressors, Blowers, and Chemical Dosing Systems.
Evaluate and manage package vendors and OEMs, ensuring alignment with project specifications and delivery schedules.
Conduct technical and commercial bid analysis, negotiation, and contract finalization.
Collaborate with system integrators and cross-functional teams including engineering, proposals, and logistics.
Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives across procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with international standards and project-specific requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with international vendors for strategic sourcing.
Monitor and report on procurement progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement of special engineering packages.
Strong understanding of technical specifications and commercial terms.
Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and coordination skills.
Familiarity with international procurement practices and compliance standards.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in Middle East projects.
Exposure to EPC contracting standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
