Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Sous Chef, for our newly open Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine, located in Park Street , Kolkata. The Senior Sous Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and maintain high culinary standards. Daily tasks include menu planning, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. The role requires collaboration with executive chefs to create innovative dishes and maintain consistency in quality and taste. The Senior Sous Chef will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior kitchen staff. Qualifications Good command over English. Culinary Skills: Expertise in advanced cooking techniques, menu planning, and recipe development Management Skills: Experience in leading kitchen staff, delegating tasks, and managing kitchen operations Food Safety and Hygiene: Knowledge of food safety regulations and maintaining hygiene standards Creativity: Ability to innovate and create new dishes while maintaining traditional flavors Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Teamwork: Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively Relevant Experience: Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role is essential Educational Qualification: Formal culinary training or a degree in Culinary Arts is preferred Show more Show less
