Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer (MERN). The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js).

As a Tech Lead, you will play a key role in leading technical delivery, mentoring developers, and driving engineering excellence, with a strong preference for expertise in the MERN stack. The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years of hands-on experience across at least 2–3 IT service-based companies, demonstrating adaptability and exposure to multiple industries and projects.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience across at least 2–3 service-based companies with exposure to multiple industry domains (e.g., e-commerce, healthcare, SaaS, fintech, etc.).

Strong expertise in the MERN stack.

Solid experience in designing and implementing REST APIs, microservices, and scalable architectures.

Hands-on experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure preferred).

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.

Strong leadership and team mentoring abilities.

Good communication skills and client-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee end-to-end technical delivery for multiple client projects.

Architect, design, and develop scalable web applications using the MERN stack .

Ensure best practices in coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and testing.

Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Guide, mentor, and upskill team members to enhance productivity and technical growth.

Communicate effectively with clients, providing technical consultation and solutioning.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements for processes, tools, and frameworks. Daily tasks include coding, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to the improvement of software development processes.

Preferred :-

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Exposure to DevOps practices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).

Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer (MERN)
