About The Team
We are a newly incubated International Search Team at IDC, focused on building and enhancing the Search Indexing Platform and Search Retrieval systems. Our mission is to create scalable, high-performance search solutions that power exceptional user experiences across Walmart’s international markets.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable search and backend systems.
- Develop, deploy, maintain and manage Search Ingestion platform, integerate ML models, help in running A/B test, improve quality of search reetults, in collaboration with all stack holder teams.
- Optimize system performance for search features, algorithms and indexing platform.
- Ensure seamless integration between APIs, services, and platform
- Lead and contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong backend engineering and software development experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Distributed computing systems, Data platform and ML platform, dev ops, and services.
- Experience working with data science teams on model integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, or similar) and cloud services.
