Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Java Backend Developer with expertise in building robust, scalable backend systems and proficiency in AWS Cloud services. While backend development is the primary focus, candidates with experience in frontend technologies will be given an advantage. This role offers an opportunity to work on end-to-end application development and collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Finance, and Ops to build automation tools that enhance the vendor payment experience.
• Own the entire software development lifecycle: requirement gathering, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Implement pipeline automation to eliminate recurring manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Drive cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services.
• Write clean, maintainable code with good unit test coverage.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in

  Java

  ,

  Spring Boot

  , and

  Microservices architecture

  .
• Experience in

  pipeline automation and scripting (preferably using Python)

  .
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with

  AWS cloud services

  (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Proficient in system design and architecture patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in

  payment systems

  ,

  finance domain

  , or

  transactional workflows

  .
• Exposure to

  CI/CD pipelines

  using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS) is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Good to Have:

• Python scripting

  – not mandatory but candidates with strong Python experience will be prioritized.
• Exposure to

  Data Pipeline

  tools and process automation frameworks.
