Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems and APIs using Nest.js and Laravel. Your role will involve collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences. Here are the key responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Nest.js and Laravel - Create and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints - Optimize application performance and scalability - Write clean, well-documented, and testable code - Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning - Ensure security and data protection best practices are implemented - Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Have at least 5 years of professional experience in backend development - Possess strong hands-on experience with Nest.js (TypeScript) and Laravel (PHP) - Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (e.g., TypeORM, Eloquent) - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture - Experience with GraphQL is a plus - Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus - Proficient in Git and modern DevOps workflows (CI/CD) - Strong problem-solving and communication skills In addition to the technical qualifications, you should have the ability to work independently and lead technical decisions.
