Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to join our growing Applications team in the communications BU. This role would be responsible for design and development of Cloud Native Automation platform, that is responsible for the automation of deployment and Lifecycle management of cloud Infrastructure and cloud native applications, ensuring smooth operation of our deployments, providing DevOps tooling and observability services for monitoring and trouble-shooting across multiple production and preproduction environments. Microservices knowledge Micro Services Architecture, Event-Driven Architectures Kubernatives Dockers Cloud exposure Azure or GCP or OCI Automation using scripting language Ansible Argo work Flows/FluxCD/Ansible CI/CD Devops Messaging Queues - Kafka, RabbitMQ Distributed Computing, Large scale Databases- Cassandra, Mongo DB, Cosmos Qualification: 6+ years of experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related field Agile Software Development and Management methods and ability to excel within an "Agile" environment (i.e. user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.) Experience with: . Required 3+ years of experience in micro services architecture, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming patterns . 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes and/or Docker · Software release and config management using Artifactory, Gitlab, Subversion, . Build Deployment Images using Docker within Kubernetes Cluster. . Automation Experience in Ansible, Terraform, Python and Shell . Troubleshooting within Kubernetes based deployments . Hands on experience with Cloud native application deployments and Monitoring. · Unit testing and code-coverage tools · Good understanding of Quality Control and Test Automation in Agile-based Continuous Integration environments .
