Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design, software development, unit testing, and deployment for medium to large-sized projects
• Develop and maintain standards, common processes, and best practices within the team
• Create quality documentation, including design specifications, unit test plans, and operational guides
• Support project deployments, ensuring smooth implementation and resolving deployment challenges
• Assist teammates on critical issues and provide solutions to meet project goals
• Troubleshoot application and data-related issues with a sense of urgency to minimize business disruption
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with a structured and repeatable approach
• Maintain clear communication and coordination across teams and stakeholders
  

Requirements

• 6.5 to 9 years of IT experience
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in Java development
• Skills in designing, developing, and debugging applications for medium to large-scale projects
• Proficiency in creating standard technical documentation including design data, test plans, and operations guides
• Expertise in troubleshooting data and resolving application issues under critical timelines
• Capability to collaborate with team members to resolve technical challenges and achieve project objectives
• Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and contribute to high-quality delivery
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership in resolving issues that impact business operations
• Background in developing and enforcing common processes, coding standards, and industry best practices
• English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

• Familiarity with IBM MDM and its application in software projects
