Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer – Frontend, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable and user-centric web applications. You will take ownership of frontend architecture and implementation while collaborating closely with backend engineers to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences. Responsibilities;

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance frontend applications using React
• Build clean, reusable, and maintainable UI components with a strong focus on usability and performance
• Translate product requirements and design mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect user interfaces
• Collaborate closely with backend teams (Node.js) to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow
• Take ownership of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimisation
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Identify and resolve UI, performance, and cross-browser issues
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and the iterative development process

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend or frontend-heavy full-stack development
• Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser rendering behaviour
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimisation, accessibility, and best practices
• Working knowledge of Node.js and relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar) is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
