As a Finance business partner at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and enhancing the overall business performance. With a proactive mindset and a dedication to continuous improvement, you will collaborate effectively with a talented team to achieve impactful results. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare the Group annual report and financial statements under IFRS and the UK statutory accounts. - Report on Group balance sheet performance, conduct detailed analysis, and reviews. - Assist in Group and UK audit at year-end, working closely with auditors and internal team members. - Manage month-end processes and Group consolidation independently. - Coordinate the monthly Group closing calendar for Synamedia Group of companies. - Perform IFRS 16 calculations, monthly journals, and update policies. - Assist in updating Transfer Pricing Policies. - Lead various Group Finance projects and workstreams to enhance accounting and internal control processes. - Collaborate with Group Financial Controller, CFO, senior stakeholders, accounting teams, and other business stakeholders. - Manage and deliver on multiple key projects through extensive collaboration. - Own internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with accounting principles and statutory requirements. - Maintain appropriate internal control environments and update controls documentation as needed. **Qualifications Required:** - Qualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in industries like Software, Telecoms, Media, or Technology. - Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with experience in managing accounting for entities across different countries. - Ability to work with and manage stakeholders globally and locally. - Comfortable with a hybrid working model, spending 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home at our Chennai COE.
