Description
As a Network Manager at Synamedia, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a team of network engineers to design, deploy, and support complex networking environments. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the management of firewalls, LAN networks, and Load-balancers, ensuring adherence to best practices and security protocols. You will be managing site-to-site VPNs and remote-access VPNs to ensure secure connectivity, as well as authentication and logging services to safeguard network resources. Participating in a 24/7 rotation for critical incidents, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and resolving network issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions into agile development processes will be a key aspect of your role. Driving standardization efforts across network infrastructure and implementing automation tools to streamline operations will be essential in improving efficiency. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 10-12 years of experience in network management. You should have expertise in Cisco switches, Fortinet firewalls, LAN networks, Load-balancers, VPNs, authentication, and monitoring systems. Proficiency in automation technologies such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is required, along with a deep understanding of agile frameworks, SLAs, and network protocols. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also crucial.
