Senior Software Developer - Python

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with 7+ years of strong backend development experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable services, building robust APIs, and driving technical excellence across the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Python.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservice-based architectures.
• Work closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to ship high-quality features.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of the application stack.
• Build automated tests and maintain CI/CD integration.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide long-term solutions to complex problems.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
  

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python (7+ years).
• Expertise in at least one framework : Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of OOP, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience in building scalable backend systems and microservices.
• Proficiency in working with databases:
• SQL: MySQL / PostgreSQL
• NoSQL: MongoDB / Redis
• Good knowledge of Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.
  

Preferred / Good To Have

• Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of data engineering pipelines, Pandas, NumPy.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  

Exposure to serverless architecture (AWS Lambda).Ability to guide teams and influence architecture.

Qualifications
