About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Java Lead Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend systems. You will be responsible for technical leadership, mentoring developers, setting coding standards, and ensuring delivery of high-quality backend services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend, DevOps, product, and QA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end backend development and own the architecture of Java-based systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Define development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies.
• Guide troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimization of backend systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and propose adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and practices.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects and contribute to sprint planning and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Java development experience with strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, object-oriented principles, and clean code practices.
• Experience with version control systems (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, gRPC, or asynchronous APIs.
• Experience with test automation tools like JUnit, Mockito, or Cucumber.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, ELK, or Datadog.

Educational Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering, or related field (B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc-CS, BCA etc.) is required.

· Master’s degree (optional but preferred) in Computer Science & Engineering, or related domain (M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA)

• Technical certifications (e.g., Oracle Java Certification, AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.

Pay: ₹526,423.55 - ₹1,885,278.24 per year
