Senior Site Supervisor

Location: Bhopal
Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Director
Experience: 5–10 Years
Salary: 20,000 – 25,000/- (can be adjusted as per company standards)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day construction site operations and ensure smooth execution of work as per project plans. The role involves supervising site teams, coordinating with engineers and contractors, monitoring progress, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to handle on-site challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:Site Supervision & Execution

• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure work progresses as per schedule.
• Supervise labor, subcontractors, and site staff.
• Ensure execution aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Resolve technical or operational issues on-site.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and vendors.
• Ensure proper material availability by updating purchase and store teams.
• Conduct daily briefings and progress meetings with workers and contractors.

Quality Control & Safety

• Implement quality checks during all stages of construction.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Report any unsafe practices and enforce corrective actions immediately.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and manpower records.
• Track material consumption and update shortages.
• Report project delays, issues, or deviations to the Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Senior Site Supervisor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and site management.
• Ability to read and understand structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage manpower and handle on-site challenges efficiently.

Qualification:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (preferred).
• ITI in Civil or equivalent with strong site experience (acceptable).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (added advantage).
• Knowledge of MS Office, site reporting tools, and construction equipment.
