ServiceNow Developer – ITOM

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions, focusing on

  Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB

  .
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, Dynatrace).
• Customize and enhance the ServiceNow platform using

  JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs

  , and other scripting tools.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy of CMDB by configuring and troubleshooting discovery probes and patterns.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor performance and optimize the platform for scalability and reliability.
• Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and platform maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience with ServiceNow development, including at least

  3+ years focused on ITOM

  .
• Strong understanding of

  ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping

  , and

  Event Management

  .
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as

  JavaScript

  and hands-on experience with

  Flow Designer

  ,

• Experience integrating with external systems via

• Solid understanding of ITIL concepts and CMDB best practices.
• ServiceNow certifications preferred:
