Senior Service Engineer

• Service & Maintenance of underground mining equipment such as LHDs, LPDTs, Agitators, Drill Rigs, Bolters, Shotcrete Machines, and Utility Equipment.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in underground conditions.
• Implementing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to reduce downtime and improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
• Ensuring compliance with OEM standards, mine safety protocols, and statutory guidelines.
• Leading and guiding maintenance teams, providing technical training, and ensuring best practices in underground servicing.
• Preparing daily service reports, maintenance logs, and root cause analyses to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with OEM representatives, planning teams, and mine operations for parts management, asset optimization, and smooth execution of maintenance activities.
  

Key Competencies Required

• Proven experience in underground HEMM service & maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits, PLC systems, and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to work in confined and high-risk environments with focus on safety and reliability.
• Team management skills and capability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  

Experience & Qualifications

• B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering.
• 8–12 years of underground mining equipment maintenance experience.
• Hands-on exposure to underground equipment from OEMs such as Sandvik, Normet, Epiroc, Atlas Copco, Caterpillar, Komatsu etc.
• Certification in TPM, Reliability Engineering, or Maintenance Management will be an added advantage.
