Service & Maintenance of underground mining equipment such as LHDs, LPDTs, Agitators, Drill Rigs, Bolters, Shotcrete Machines, and Utility Equipment.
Troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in underground conditions.
Implementing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to reduce downtime and improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
Ensuring compliance with OEM standards, mine safety protocols, and statutory guidelines.
Leading and guiding maintenance teams, providing technical training, and ensuring best practices in underground servicing.
Preparing daily service reports, maintenance logs, and root cause analyses to support continuous improvement.
Collaborating with OEM representatives, planning teams, and mine operations for parts management, asset optimization, and smooth execution of maintenance activities.
Key Competencies Required:
Proven experience in underground HEMM service & maintenance.
Strong technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits, PLC systems, and diagnostic tools.
Ability to work in confined and high-risk environments with focus on safety and reliability.
Team management skills and capability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Experience & Qualifications:
B. Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile Engineering.
8–12 years of underground mining equipment maintenance experience.
Hands-on exposure to underground equipment from OEMs such as Sandvik, Normet, Epiroc, Atlas Copco, Caterpillar, Komatsu etc.
Certification in TPM, Reliability Engineering, or Maintenance Management will be an added advantage.
