Senior SEO Executive

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven SEO Executive to join our digital marketing team. This is a full-time role (remote-first with occasional onsite meetings in Delhi/Jaipur).

As an SEO Executive, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic, improve keyword rankings, and maximize ROI for our clients. You will work primarily on eCommerce projects targeting the USA market, focusing on delivering sustainable growth instead of vanity metrics like spammy backlinks or keyword stuffing.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Execution
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-value, buyer-intent keywords.
• Create and implement on-page SEO strategies (titles, meta descriptions, content optimization, schema markup, internal linking).
• Plan and execute off-page SEO campaigns with a focus on authoritative, relevant link-building (fashion blogs, seasonal guides, niche apparel publications).
• Develop seasonal SEO strategies aligned with holiday shopping, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and other high-conversion periods.
• Technical SEO
• Perform SEO audits to identify and resolve site speed, crawlability, and indexing issues.
• Ensure websites follow Google’s algorithm best practices and maintain technical compliance.
• Analytics & Reporting
• Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar.
• Provide clear, actionable monthly reports that link rankings and traffic growth to revenue opportunities.
• Track KPIs such as keyword ranking improvements, CTR, organic traffic growth, and conversions.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with content, development, and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and eCommerce SEO trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SEO for eCommerce brands (apparel/fashion preferred).
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Familiarity with Shopify and other eCommerce platforms.
• Ability to deliver measurable improvements in 3 months or less.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Case studies or proof of past ranking/traffic growth results.
• Knowledge of seasonal SEO strategies for high-demand sales periods.
• Experience with US-based eCommerce stores.
