Senior Scrum Master

R&D Software teams within the Sports Medicine Division

What will you be doing?

• Establish and communicate software sprint KPIs and metrics to enable objective assessment of performance, execution risks and improvement opportunities.
• Align software sprint goals in collaboration with other SCRUM Masters and PMO leader.
• Plan and track sprint goals and definition-of-done including QMS required activities as required for definition-of-done.
• Resolves team impediments with cross-function Scrum team members and other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Supports Software Project Managers with timely communication/escalation of risks/issues, their impact, and mitigation/corrective actions.
• Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
  

What will you need to be successful?

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business management is required. Master’s Degree is preferred
• Licenses/ Certifications: At least one current agile project management certification is required. Examples of Agile Certifications are: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Certified Product Owner (CPO), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Experience: Should have a min 3 – 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master within the total experience.
  

Competences:(Must have):

• Software sprint planning experience across multiple teams.
• Technical understanding of software development process.
• Project execution experience using SAFe, SCRUM or related agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools, such as JIRA, Trello or Microsoft Project.
• Understanding of project management in a regulated industry is desired, experience with FDA regulation 21 CFR Part 820 is preferred.
