Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and support of the SAP FICO modules to meet business needs. This role requires a strong understanding of financial business processes and how they are implemented within the SAP ERP system. Key Responsibilities: Analyze complex business requirements and provide solutions within the SAP FICO module. Configure SAP FICO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, CCA, PCA, and COPA). Work closely with business stakeholders to understand financial and controlling requirements. Design, test, and implement customizations, enhancements, and configurations in SAP. Lead and support SAP FICO implementations and upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO issues in a timely manner. Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and interface with technical teams. Support integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems. Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, configuration guides, and training materials. Provide end-user training and support as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 6+ years of experience as an SAP FICO consultant. Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation. Strong knowledge of financial and controlling processes and best practices. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus. Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Professional certifications in SAP FICO (SAP Certified Application Associate). Knowledge of international financial standards (IFRS, GAAP). Experience with SAP tools such as Solution Manager, BPC, or BW. Understanding of ABAP for debugging and working with developers.
