Role & responsibilities

Role Overview:

Senior SAP Basis Consultant

• Administer SAP systems including S/4HANA, ECC, SRM, BW, PO in heterogeneous environments (AIX, Linux, Windows).
• Perform SAP Basis administration tasks such as performance monitoring, tuning, system integrity checks, and issue resolution.
• Lead and support end-to-end SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversion projects.
• Manage and optimize HANA, Sybase, and Oracle database installations, upgrades, backups, restores, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Install and administer HANA databases with strong knowledge of performance tuning and optimization.
• Maintain and enhance the SAP landscape including NetWeaver ABAP & Java stack, BOBJ, and SAP Solution Manager (including CHARM).
• Ensure seamless integration of On-Premise and SaaS environments, with knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Administer and maintain SAP Enterprise Portal, TREX, Content Server, and Archival solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all SAP systems and interfaces.
• Provide strategic input on system backups, recovery plans, and DR processes.
• Lead or mentor teams during critical projects, incident resolutions, and upgrades.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 5+ years of SAP Basis experience.
• Hands-on experience in

  at least one full-cycle SAP implementation, migration

  , or

  upgrade project

  .
• Must have led

  at least one ECC to S/4HANA conversion

  project.
• Strong experience with

  SAP HANA

  ,

  SYBASE

  , and

  ORACLE

  databases.
• Working knowledge of

  SAP Solution Manager

  with CHARM.
• Cloud exposure:

  Azure, AWS

  .
• Proven experience in SaaS platforms and their integrations with on-premise systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work in a

  24x7 support model

  and travel onsite (domestic or international) as needed.
