Job Overview:

Senior SAP S/4HANA On-Premise Basis Consultant

Skills:

• Min 10 years of SAP basis consultant end-to-end skills as per the given responsibilities
• Basis administration, security, OS, DB s4ha applications administration mandatory
• SAP Certified Technology Associate System Administration (SAP HANA or NetWeaver) preferred
• SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP Applications Certification preferred
• Knowledge of SAP system tuning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in backup, restore, and failover strategies for SAP environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

SAP S/4HANA Basis Administration:

• Oversee the

  installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance

  of

  SAP S/4HANA on-premise landscapes

  .
• Manage

  SAP NetWeaver, Solution Manager, BW/4HANA, Fiori, PO/PI, and other SAP components

  .
• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure stability.
• Manage

  SAP Transport Management System (TMS)

  and handle change management processes.
• Implement

  SAP security best practices

  and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

SAP Security Administration:

• Define and enforce

  SAP security policies

  for users, roles, and authorizations.
• Implement and manage

  SAP GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) solutions

  .
• Ensure

  audit readiness

  by managing role-based access control and segregation of duties.
• Monitor

  SAP security logs

  and perform

  vulnerability assessments

  .

SUSE Linux Administration:

• Configure and administer

  SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP applications

  .
• Handle

  kernel updates, patching, system tuning, and OS-level security

  .
• Automate system monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive issue detection.
• Troubleshoot Linux-based

  performance and stability issues

  in SAP environments.

Database Administration:

• Administer and optimize

  SAP HANA, Oracle, MSSQL, or MaxDB

  databases.
• Perform

  backup, recovery, and replication

  to ensure data integrity.
• Manage

  database performance tuning

  , indexing, partitioning, and storage optimization.
• Implement database security, encryption, and access control policies.

Data Center (DC), High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR) Management:

• Design and implement

  HA and DR solutions

  for SAP S/4HANA landscapes.
• Work with infrastructure teams to ensure

  SAP systems are resilient and failover-ready

  .
• Optimize

  SAP system availability, backup strategies, and failover testing

  .
• Collaborate on

  DC migrations, cloud integration, and hybrid deployments

  .

SAP Landscape Management on perm /Cloud Integration:

• Support SAP deployments in

  on-premise, private cloud, and hybrid environments

  .
• Implement SAP best practices for

  business continuity and operational resilience

  .
• Collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to meet business needs.
• Maintain

  SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) for proactive monitoring and lifecycle management

  .
